To transform into their Ranger forms, the Gingamen yell "Ginga Tensei!" (Ginga Reincarnation), turn the dial with the triangle on it pointing to their respective color, then pressed the upper zigzag swich of the Braces and the Ginga Cloth is formed by the power of the Earth. The Ginga Braces are stored within a monument to the Starbeasts within the Roaring Mountain, a holy site just outside the boundaries of the Ginga Forest. After a new squadron of Gingaman is chosen and granted their Starbeast Sword, they must travel to this site to gain the Ginga Brace and thus fully become Gingaman.

Though initially to be received by the 133rd squadron as part of their ritual, the revival of the Space Pirates Balban and the subsequent death of intended GingaRed Hyuuga leads to the squadron to be awakened when Ryouma, their new GingaRed, fully awakens the Earth power within himself during the initial attack, allowing for the Ginga Braces to be granted to the new team.
After the Gingamen received the Lights of Ginga, it divided itself into five parts which were then infused into each of the Ginga Braces individually allowing them to freely activate Beast Armor Shine with the command "Roar! Lights of Ginga!", but only if all five Gingamen are together.
Transformation Sequence:
- Arms are lifted
- Then crossed
- Dial in the color
- Press the appropriate buttons
- Pillars of respective elements spin around the respective Gingamen
- As the costume cascades upwards
- The helmet then appears
- Transformation complete
